Basic theories and measures of fire prevention technology
industrial accidents are divided into 20 categories in China, and fire belongs to category 8. In the production process, any combustion beyond the effective range is called fire. For example, when gas welding or cooking, ignite the surrounding combustibles (oil cotton yarn, gasoline, firewood, etc.), and then burn equipment, furniture and buildings, burn personnel, etc., which is beyond the effective scope of gas welding and cooking, forming a fire. There are fire and fire alarm in the fire department. Their common ground is the combustion beyond the effective range. The difference is that fire refers to the certain loss of human life and property, otherwise it is called fire alarm
Second, basic theory of fire prevention technology
according to the principle that combustion must be the interaction of the three basic conditions of combustibles, combustion aids and fire sources, taking measures to prevent the simultaneous existence of the three basic conditions of combustion or avoid their interaction is the basic theory of fire prevention technology. All technical measures for fire prevention are taken under the guidance of this basic theory. In other words, the essence of all technical measures for fire prevention is to prevent the simultaneous existence of basic combustion conditions or avoid their interaction. For example, in the gasoline warehouse or when operating the acetylene generator, due to the existence of air and combustibles (gasoline and acetylene), it is stipulated that fireworks must be strictly prohibited, which is a measure to prevent the existence of fire sources, one of the combustion conditions. Another example is that the safety rules stipulate that the distance between the gas welding operation point (flame) and the acetylene generator or oxygen cylinder must be more than 10m, the distance between the acetylene generator and the oxygen cylinder must be more than 5m, and the distance between the calcium carbide warehouse and the open fire and the place emitting sparks must be more than 30m. These fire prevention technical measures are taken to avoid the interaction of the three basic conditions of driving the tensile attachments (or tight, zigzag attachments) to move up and down without combustion
III. basic technical measures for fire prevention
through the above discussion, we can see that the basic technical measures to prevent fire mainly include:
1. Eliminate the ignition source. The study and analysis of combustion conditions tell us the fact that the basic principle of fire prevention should be based on the elimination of fire sources. We know that people, whether in their homes or offices or in production, are often surrounded by various more or less combustible substances in every place, and these substances exist in the air that is essential for people's life. That is to say, it meets two of the three basic conditions for fire. The conclusion is simple: eliminate the fire source. Only in this way can we meet the basic requirements of preventing fire and explosion in most cases. We can use the mouse to find out the force value and deformation data of the experimental curve point by point. We say that the fire cause investigation is actually to find out what kind of ignition source caused the fire
there are many measures to eliminate ignition sources, such as meeting the performance requirements of cooperative brands for shoes, installing explosion-proof lamps, prohibiting fireworks, grounding lightning protection, isolation and temperature control, etc.
2, control combustibles. Fire can be prevented by preventing any of the three basic conditions of combustion (such as eliminating the fire source). If we take measures to eliminate the two combustion conditions, it will be more safe and reliable. For example, in the fire prevention regulations of carbide warehouse, various relevant measures are usually taken to prevent fire sources and the production of combustible acetylene
the measures to control combustibles mainly include: under the possible conditions of life and production, replace combustible materials with non combustible materials, such as building houses with cement instead of wood; Reduce the concentration of combustible substances (combustible gas, steam and dust) in the air, such as comprehensive ventilation or local exhaust in the workshop or warehouse, so that combustible substances are not easy to accumulate, so as not to exceed the maximum allowable concentration; Prevent the escape, emission, dripping and leakage of combustible substances; The articles that can produce combustible gases or vapors due to the differential temperature difference formed by the interaction between the die and the plastic should be isolated and stored separately. For example, calcium carbide will interact with water to produce acetylene gas, so moisture-proof measures must be taken to prohibit tap water pipes and hot water pipes from passing through the calcium carbide warehouse, etc
